San Francisco cable cars are the last of their kind!

San Francisco cable cars are almost an extinct kind of transportation! Old-school trams, pulled at a speed of 9.5 miles per hour by cables, are embedded in the street’s surface. Named the National Historic Landmark in 1964, this is the last transport system of this kind in the world today! About 9.7 million people ride the trams annually, join them if you’re in San Francisco!

What tires do you need for San Francisco weather?
The Golden City’s climate is mild and remarkably even throughout the year, with dry summers and moist winter seasons from Nov to April. You’ll be fine in San Francisco riding all year round on the same type of tires, and you can shop for either new or used all-season or summer tires at our website.
All season tires are the all-rounders that offer stable performance in mild weather conditions, and summer and performance tires belong to a more progressive category. Their compound has been specially designed for the hot, melty summer roads: and these tires are stiffer and have perfect contact with the surface. A special tread design with wide grooves allows perfect aquaplaning which might be handy in heavy rains.
