Seasonal tire changeover

In River City, most people don’t need to do a seasonal tire changeover, especially if they live within the city limits. Here there isn’t a lot of snow and roads are well maintained. I-64 is a major east-west interstate highway that passes through the center of the city, connecting it to Missouri to the west and the Hampton Roads region, to the east. The highway intersects with both I-95 and I-295 within the city boundaries and provides access to several of Richmond's major attractions, including the downtown area, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

I-95, also known as the Richmond–Petersburg Turnpike in the Richmond area, is the main east coast interstate highway that passes through the center of the city, connecting it to Maine to the north and Florida to the south. The highway runs concurrently with the I-64 within the city boundaries.

I-295 is an auxiliary interstate highway that connects I-64 and I-95 to the east of the city, providing a partial loop-way around the city before going south to Petersburg.

US 1 is a major north-south U.S. highway that passes through Richmond along with the US 301. It runs as Brook Rd, Azalea Ave, Chamberlayne Ave, Belvedere St, Cowardin Ave, and Jefferson Davis Hwy within the city limits.

SR 288 forms an almost complete loop-way with the I-295, going around to the west of the city. To the north of the city, it intersects with the I-64 near Short Pump, and to the south, it intersects with the I-95 south of Bellwood.
