Automotive history

Nolan Chevrolet was established in Casper in 1924 when the American auto industry was still in its infancy. The Chevrolet Motor Company had only been established 10 years earlier, becoming the mainstream volume brand of the growing General Motors Company.
In the mid-1920s, General Motors showcased the reliability of its vehicles by driving a Buick Standard Six touring model around the world. The car started its journey in London in 1924 and traveled through 14 countries, before returning to the U.S. where it visited every Buick dealership in the country.
